IKEA - Bridal and Gifts

Last week I attended a Bridal event at Ikea.  They have some fabulous ideas for decorating a venue, bridal shower, gifts for the out of town guest, gifts for the bridal party, and of course your first home.

When we first arrived, we received our name tag, pen and a tape measure that looks like a house with the ruler coming out of the chimney.  Very cute tape measure.  From there I got on the escalator and went up the restaurant.  There was some yummy snacks, drinks and some beautiful tables set up.

There were 3 different tables set with linens, place mats, glasses, dishes and flatware.  The themes were; "Rustic Charm", "Black Tie", and "Blue Hues".

Some things I learned about IKEA is that they offer a hand picked and delivery service.  For as low as $99, you can call them up, 2 weeks out, and tell them the items you are wanting.  They will go to the floor pull the items  and deliver them to you.  Isn't that a great service?

There are 2 times during the year that they receive specialty items - October for the Holiday items and February for the Summer items.  IKEA offers great ideas, and awesome prices.  Now if they would just add a bridal registry service.
